My name is Sarah Houle, and I am a graduate from Eastern Connecticut State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications.
I became interested in visual media when I was young, and honed the skill in high school and college. Tenth grade was when I fell in love with the idea of working with video, and eleventh grade opened my eyes to how cool still photography could be. I experimented with other parts of media during my time at Manchester Community College, focusing on audio production and trying out a couple courses involving screenwriting. But, I think my favorite part of production has always been video editing.
I've spent the last five years at Foxwoods Resort Casino, being a cam-op or a technical director for shows in the Premiere Theater and the Great Cedar Showroom - I've worked with Alice Cooper, Staind, and Carrie Underwood to name a few. I also spent this most recent summer producing video for Sustainable CT, and just recently accepted a position for the fall with Lifetouch.
This portfolio is designed to show you a bit further into my world.
