Media Experience
Audio-Visual Technician - Foxwoods Resort Casino
4/2016 - Present
The majority of the work I do at Foxwoods is camera operation in the casino's Premiere Theater. We have anywhere from two to five robotic cameras being operated during a show depending on the type of performer. I've run a camera for a multitude of shows, including Sammy Hagar & the Circle and Carrie Underwood. I've run a camera on sticks out at FOH a handful of times as well; shows bringing me out there include Russell Peters, Rascal Flatts, and Kevin Hart. In the Premiere Theater I've also gained technical directing experience* during shows including Alice Cooper, "Weird Al" Yankovic, and Staind. I've also been trained in the Great Cedar Showroom and run video for shows including the Ultrasonic Rock Orchestra, Stone Temple Pilots, and Tesla. Within both theaters I've gained stagehand experience as well, helping with everything from video walls to audio snakes to lighting hangs.

School Photographer - Shutterfly/Lifetouch
8/2021-5/2022
I worked for a school year taking staff and student individuals with Lifetouch. Armed with everything from backdrops to freestanding lighting to back-lighting (and of course a camera!), I went around to different schools in the Connecticut area and taking photos of staff and students for yearbooks, school IDs, and to showcase student personality.
Video Production Intern - Sustainable CT
6/2021-8/2021
Over Summer 2021, to finish my bachelor's degree, I was an intern with Sustainable CT. They put me in contact with a group called PARJE where I worked with another intern and the two of us have created a handful of short, documentary-style videos. I also had the opportunity to do some promotional work in Cheshire, CT for their Summer of Sunflowers. All videos I edited are linked under Videography > Editing Work.
Camera Operator - Norwich Assembly of God Church
I've been found running a camera for the Assembly of God Church in Norwich, CT on a handful of Sunday morning services and church events. I've had the opportunity to run the camera for not only the Sunday morning services but also special services and outreach programs held at or run through the church as well. All the videos are streamed on Facebook and YouTube, and a select few can be found under Videography > Camera Work
ICE Radio & ICE TV Intern - Manchester Community College
Fall 2018
For the Fall 2018 semester, I completed the second internship for my Associate's degree. I was asked by the advisor for the ICE Radio and ICE TV clubs on campus if I would intern with both of the clubs, and I accepted. Amongst creating public service announcements for the campus's radio station, I also began a show called A Flash Course In Music designed to take the listener throughout a band or artist's history with interesting facts and trivia about the band sprinkled in. We utilized Adobe Audition at ICE Radio. With ICE TV, I kept officer status from the semester prior and assisted in creating videos for the club, including shooting a video for the Drum Circle event on MCC's campus in November of 2018.
ICE TV - Manchester Community College
Fall 2016; Fall 2017 - Present
ICE TV prides itself in being the visual media club on MCC's campus. It's the newest of the media clubs and makes use of the school's TV studio. I've been able to be a part of a few advertisements for the club as well as helping make short videos for events on and off campus. I've shot videos for singer/songwriter Tony Memmel, the dedication of the Raymond Damato building on campus, and the opening for the Bistro on Main in Manchester, CT. In Spring 2018 I was the club's Secretary and in Fall 2018 I was Vice President.
Yearbook - Griswold High School
2013-2014; 2015-2016
Roughly 200 yearbooks are sold each year at Griswold High School, seen by not only by students, but also their friends and family, along with school staff and faculty. We did a little bit of everything working on the yearbook; assignments ranged from photographing events, to laying out and filling the pages, to going out and finding advertisers to help offset the cost of the publication.
Photographer - Griswold High School
4/2016
Each year Griswold High School's musical production is the biggest event of the spring semester. Out of the roughly 600 kids in the school, about 200 participate in some way, shape or form. I participated by being chosen along with two other student photographers to photograph the dress rehearsal of the Jesus Christ Superstar production to be sold during its five-show run.
Screenprinting Volunteer - Griswold High School
4/2016
Along with being a photographer for Griswold High School's musical (see above), I volunteered to help in the high school's print shop after school hours to get some of the shirts printed sporting the Jesus Christ Superstar Logo. Each year the print shop prints a shirt for each student and faculty member involved in the production, along with extra shirts for selling to show attendees during the run.
Education
Griswold High School
Class of 2016; Media Arts Pathway
At Griswold High, students were guided along different "pathways" related to what their intended career path was. I was a part of the Media Arts pathway and took classes all over the spectrum of media. A couple of my favorite classes focused on teaching me how to use a film camera, develop negatives, and make prints, along with others focusing on Adobe InDesign and making longhand drafts of print advertisements without a computer.
Manchester Community College
Class of 2019; Communications, A.S.
I honed skills that I first picked up in high school at MCC. I majored in Communications and was on the Dean's List or President's List throughout the entirety of my enrollment. Some of the classes that taught me fundamental communications skills include Audio Production, Video Filmmaking, and TV Production. In the fall of 2018 I completed an internship with the school's TV and Radio clubs (mentioned above). I graduated on May 29, 2019 with an Associate's in Communications along with a certificate in Broadcast Media
Eastern Connecticut State University
Class of 2021; Communications, B.S.
As of August 31, 2021, my degree is conferred! In the two years that I spent at Eastern, I had the opportunity to take classes that focused a lot more on written communication and theory, which helped me build on the foundation of creative techniques and principles that I learned at Manchester Community College. The highlight of Eastern was my summer semester where it all came together in my internship with Sustainable CT (see above).
